My four year old granddaughter recently attended a friend's "dress up for tea" birthday party. She became enamored of a little handbag she was given to carry as part of her dress up outfit. When I saw videos of her showing it off to her mom, I knew I wanted to buy her a handbag of her very own. The handbag she held at the party was not the quilted one with the distinctive woven chain - you know the designer I mean - but that's what I wanted for her. I flipped when I saw this crossbody bag with the chain handle and quilting to look like you know whose. It is not a direct knockoff and won't ever be confused for the real thing, but it is "in the style of" and simply adorable for a little one. The handbag came in a matter of days and it couldn't be cuter. The little Pom Pom is a cute addition for a little girl and the handbag is compartmentalized inside. I plan to give it to my granddaughter when she comes for a visit. I am going to make her a tea party of her very own, and I hope it becomes a tradition. Also, I was concerned that the handbag would have a weird smell that I read in many reviews dissipates. The handbag I received did not smell at all. The clasp is also nice and solid. The only thing I have to say that is a mark against the handbag is that the faux leather in the chain has a tendency to fall out of the links. Not a terribly big deal. My daughter and I are delighted with the handbag and I know my granddaughter will be as well.
